What our Great Nation has Become Under an Ongoing Republican Government and What Can Be Done

No Kingdom Is This

This is not a monarchy! This is not a kingdom! This is not George W. Bush’s private Idaho. It is also not a republican piggy bank! This is the United States of America. A nation formed under democratic principle. However, in its current form, it is being mismanaged as an oligarchy. For those lacking a lexicon. “Oligarchy = a form of government in which all power is vested in a few persons or in a dominant class or clique; government by the few.” This is not conjecture by any means. It is a factual as the air you breathe. If you are under the illusion that you are living in a democratic society, it’s time to bring you up to speed!

Until the actual citizens of this country begin to control and orchestrate the election process, instead of the unseen men behind the invisible corporate curtain, there will never be an election worth voting in. The balloting process is so far removed from the publics oversight, that there is no real opportunity for democratic process to exist. In my estimation, there has not been an honest election since JFK was in office. Even so, it was just a matter of time before the Texas connection orchestrated one of many covert operations to garner complete control of the U.S. government. The innocence and ignorance of the American people is unnerving in the extreme. How many years of streaming lies come out of the white house and no one seems to have a clue as to who is running this dog and phony show. Bush Sr. is the director of all this mayhem, madness and destruction in the world today. The Bush’s have been in the arms business for generations, and they and their core group of cronies are profiting fantastically from the ongoing, so called “War on Terrorism” and it is they who have manufactured the entire debacle from scripting the 9/11 disaster, to restarting the Iraq war, picking up right where Bush Senior left off. America, is being mismanaged by a handful of extremely powerful bankers and the whole concept that you are going to change the structure from a closed group of malevolent movers and shakers, to a dignified democracy in the course of one election cycle is preposterous. Of course we are ready for a change, but it will not come about without changing the entire voting process from top to bottom, and even if fair and honest elections where held today, I am not so sure that those who have fortunes tied up in the aerospace and armament industries are going to pack up and leave with out a massive bloody battle. The republicans have an unspoken world wide agenda, and they are hell bent on keeping their death machine marching along turning a profit at all costs. World dominance is the agenda and it has been since day one. From the moment we set foot on North American soil and massacred the Indian Nation and took control of their vast national resources, our energies have been directed at manipulating not only the outside economies of the planet, but the entire internal population, into a nation of slave wage earners who still believe that climbing the corporate ladder is going to bring some lasting success and happiness to their families lives. Slavery is very much alive in the United States and it is a bankers dream come true. The truly sad part is that the party was over in the 50’s and we are still getting dressed to celebrate and the band went home 50 years ago.

So vote for whomever you think will satisfy your outmoded concept of what the democratic process is, it is time to change the entire governmental model and its processes, and to align ourselves with the modern world. It is time to prepare our nation(s) for the entire truckload of real world environmental tragedies coming down the pike at light-speed. It may sound alarmist, but the collective effects we are having on the climate and all of the species on this planet will reach a point of no return if we do not stop allowing corrupt corporations to control, not only our individual lives, but our economic and environmental destiny as well. Manufacturing unnecessary goods solely for the sake of profit is not only costly in terms of natural resources it’s absurd in terms of energy usage and wasted human potential. The age old good o’l boy routine by which this nation is being run into the ground, is ineffective in problem solving, and inept in its ability to think creatively or constructively. These politicians, are a one trick pony at best, and in a world of massive population explosion, and ongoing changing dynamics, one trick just will not cover all the bases, let alone even one. This regime is criminal in its mismanagement of the peoples trust and has been from the onset been culpable in orchestrating voter fraud. If politicians cheat to win a political position, by buying votes or fixing elections, or worse, preventing citizens from casting ballots, they deserve nothing more than to be fined, jailed and made to pay extreme penalties for abusing our nations rule of law regarding fair and honest election process. America is a great nation, and many lives have been sacrificed with the purpose of fulfilling the ideal of a true democracy, and not just in Iraq and Afghanistan, lets not forget Vietnam, Korea, WWII etc. All of these human lives were put on the line in the belief that they were giving their lives for freedom and democracy. It is extremely unfortunate that the current administration has chosen to ignore these sacrifices in favor of rigged elections and treasonous acts of terror against the American People, and or nations constitution and bill of rights. They have betrayed the trust of our nation as much as humanly possible! This is treason in its highest form!

The problem is that all of the power of the vote has been diluted and or polluted by the structure of an outdated balloting system, to such an extent that by the time our so called leaders speak, our collective voice is never heard. Lobbyist, nepotism and vested interests are the influences which determine how deals get done; and the educational and health care of our nation is suffering great setbacks as a result of feeding no bid contracts to military contractors in the trillions of dollars. America is not a financial toy to be tossed in the dirt by the ultra wealthy right wing conservative establishment. There is nothing whatsoever conservative about their actions. Our life’s hard work and energies are being squandered, so the ultra conservatives can live in a state of guarded comfort and outrageous luxury, in the face of our crumbling national infrastructure and rocketing national debt.

A new program needs very much to be designed. One that really takes the planet and its inhabitants seriously, and shows some respect for all living things. For it is living things which sustain our lives, day in and day out. This is not a shopping mall, this is a living organism, and we are, each and everyone of us a unique and wonderful part of something much more profound and magnificent than slaving, pathetic consumers who are always on the way to purchase the latest and greatest gadget. We are trading our essential quality of life for a flash in the pan. But, this will only last for a few more generations. As usual, the powerful, and the rich are exploiting everything in their grasp, as their poisonous tentacles reach into the remote and pristine jungles and forests on our planet, so as to extract every natural resource they can pump, mine or cut from the earth. We are becoming a nation of economic pawns, instead of free thinking and acting citizens. We are trapped in the high stakes game of global finance, and the house always wins. We have no say over the costs of goods, and while the quality of housing construction has spiraled to an all time low, the cost of purchasing a new home has increased exponentially and continues to do so day by day. We have become slaves to the inflated housing market in a failing economy! It is time to see this situation for what it actually what it is. Bankers Rule!

While a call for impeachment is imperative, just getting rid of the fat cats in the white house will accomplish nothing if we do not find some truly intelligent, innovative, creative and dynamic people to restructure the way we are interacting with with rest of the world and the earth. Building smart bomb factories and high tech weapons is planetary suicide in the extreme. It is way past high time we began using our collective resources in a positive manner to not only build a new version of America but to establish a compassionate foreign policy, which allows other developing countries a higher standard of living instead of being exploited for their resources, or worse being attacked under the false pretense of spreading democracy with a view towards imperialistic expansion, and war time profiteering. We need new moral, ethical, principled leaders who possess vision. If we allow the status quo to continue down this road, we do two things. 1. We admit that the human race is not competent to orchestrate its own existence on this planet. 2. We are doomed to a future of mass slavery where the corporate warlords run, rack and ruin over the entire planet not only for the sake of profit, but more, for the absolute control and possession of every animal, mineral and vegetable in existence. And for those of you who will label me a left wing liberal pacifist, bear in mind that I was among those unfortunate young men who were sent to Vietnam to stop the scourge of Communism from spreading from the serene and beautiful rice paddies of East Asia to the shopping malls of the U.S. I have seen the horrific effect the U.S. war machine has, not only on an innocent agrarian people, but the insidious effects of chemical warfare and the resultant toxic damage done to newborns and the very source of nutrition the people of Vietnam depend on for survival. Dropping Napalm on innocent women and children is a sanitized form of mechanized murder. Collateral damage has a name and a face, and it is the face of a child’s corpse. It is the twisted charred remains of a humble rice farmer and his wife burned out of their little grass hut by men who own giant corporations with vast holdings and plenty of pull in congress. Consider also that a huge population of U.S. troops were also sprayed by extremely toxic defoliant chemicals in the name of something or other! Today we are still paying the price for our exposure to these agents. The Vietnam war was also launched on a set of lies, as Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara so clearly admitted in his book: The Tragedy and Lessons of Vietnam. In Iraq, the military has used depleted uranium weapons against the so called enemy terrorists, and continues its reckless habit of polluting foreign lands, and destroying the health of the Iraqi people into the distant future. Then there is the untold toll these weapons are taking on our own servicemen and women. It seems as though it is not enough to savagely destroy the infrastructure of the country, exploding uranium into the earth is completely acceptable to achieve this administrations maniacal ends.

War is touted as a method of preserving and or expanding democracy and maintaining or reestablishing peace. In fact war is about making money and extorting our nations financial tax base in a wholesale manner and funneling it directly into the pockets of the weapons manufacturers and support companies such as Halliburton. The most shameful element of this practice, is that it has the unseen effect of misusing our nations financial resources in a manner which gives a grossly disproportionate quantity of our nations wealth, to the already rich right wing republicans, ( who own and operate the munitions factories (have you checked the price of nuclear submarine lately?)) and bankrupts the national treasury of its intended function, of providing for the common welfare of the people. Do you not see that this is NATIONAL BANK ROBBERY! Shouldn’t someone be going to jail? This leaves the majority of Americans in want of jobs, healthcare and a decent education and leaves us in a substandard living situation. This is a deceptive bait and switch technique which employes the use of false propaganda, to garner the support of the masses, and then once war has been initiated, leverages the sacrifice and loss of human life in the name of supporting our troops. This is fostered by the relentless media hype of jingoistic rhetoric, which shames the American people into thinking that unless they comply with the delusive decree of corrupt politicians, they are some how lacking compassion in the face of all those who have died, when in fact they did not elect to put these young men and women in harms way. That was done implicitly by the falsely elected president and his complicit cronies under the guise of mock patriotism. I will take one man standing before one standard size flag, speaking simple truth, to ten devious scheming, extremist right-wing new world order nazi criminals, standing before thirty flags and banners, claiming to hold the interests of the American people in their hearts, when nothing could be further from the truth! Imagine, just for a moment, what could be built with all the energy, financial and otherwise, being misused by this administration, to conduct the numerous wars on earth. We could put every person to work building sustainable homes , learning new methods of design, healing each other, teaching towards higher achievement, growing higher quality food and having a substantially higher standard of living for every single person. Is this not our goal? Instead of using our young men and women as soldiers who will inevitably return home injured or dead, they could live long and healthy, meaningful and productive lives by adding to the positive growth of our nation. A nation, which is noted for its desire to feed the hungry, and heal the ill. This is the vision of America I thought I was growing up in. Imagine my shocked surprise to discover I was living in a land of conquering, profiteering thugs. Absolute power corrupts!

It is my sincere hope that we can turn this very complex situation around, and restore some dignity and trust, not only to the people of America, but begin to repair the untold damage this administration has done in the world at large. If we are going to survive on this planet into the next century, we will need the collective cooperation of every nation. We can no longer afford to function as a rogue nation which casually spreads mayhem across the globe.

It may still be possible to resurrect our nation and recreate a governmental body which begins to focus on creative and constructive development. A nation where the people are actually represented in their daily lives in terms of national health care, a solid educational system, clean food, air and water and progressive and innovative ideas which reflect the very best of humanity, instead of reducing ourselves to the lowest, meanest and most
destructive of all creatures on the face of the earth.

Until we reform the system by which we elect our representatives and make it secure and efficient by bringing it in line with modern technologies, we will be left with whatever form of government is forced upon us. Voting is only a part of the long list of things which need attention. Unless we find visionary people who possess the will to initiate new decision making methods, which are in line with our current global conditions, having the most accountable voting system in the world will solve nothing. Managing our nation from a positive framework needs to begin immediately, or sooner! Evidently, the dinosaurs did not have good leadership and look what happened to them! Our current governmental system is archaic and outmoded. It is time to cull out the dead wood and plant some new seeds. There can not be renewed vigorous growth in our nation without some new blood being injected into the veins of our crippled system.
